This beautiful handmade olive wood soap dish will keep your soap or shampoo bar dry in eco-friendly style.
 
This sturdy rustic soap dish is made of olive wood which is extremely resistant to moisture due to its hardness and its high oil content.
 
Each soap dish is handmade and although they are all oval with three holes in the base for drainage, the final shape of each one is governed by the piece of wood being used. Each dish is therefore unique, but they are generally 13cm to 15cm long, 7cm to 8cm wide and 3cm to 5cm deep.
 
Caring for your soap dish
Although olive wood is naturally water resistant, it is a natural material so do not leave the soap dish standing in water for extended periods as this will damage the wood.
 
Wash out the soap residue from time to time with warm water, let it dry and then rub it with a little olive oil so that the wood remains protected against moisture and the dish does not lose its honey-coloured shine.
 
Not suitable for the dishwasher. Do not use harsh cleaning products on the soap dish.
