Ideal for cleaning out bottles and other hard to reach nooks and crannies, this environmentally friendly coconut bottle brush is also 100% recyclable and biodegradable. The handle is made from bamboo and the bristles are made from coconut husk (coir).
The coconut bottle brush is a little chunkier than most – it seems to have been perfectly designed to make short work of cleaning out wide-necked reusable drinks bottles, flasks and jars. It's a useful addition to your eco kitchen.
The coconut bottle brush is about 6cm wide at its widest point. For cleaning narrower bottles and other vessels, try our skinny sisal bottle brush, or for very small spaces try our tiny bottle brush.
To prolong the life of the bottle brush, we recommend that you rinse it after use, then allow it to dry, ready for next time. With proper care the coconut bottle brush should last you for years, but when it reaches the end of its useful life, you can cut off the handle and bristles and put them in the compost where they will harmlessly biodegrade.
Bamboo is one of the fastest growing and most sustainable plants, requiring very little water and no pesticides or herbicides, meaning it’s a really great environmental alternative to wood (or indeed, plastic).
